The Moderna covid-19 (mRNA-1273) manufactured by Pfizer and
BioNTech. A small number of people experience rare
anaphylactic reactions after receiving the Moderna covid-19 vaccine
according to the new data of the
Centers for Disease and Prevention.

According to the CDC statement, there have been 15 confirmed cases
of anaphylactic reactions after receiving the Moderna vaccine made by
BioNTech and 45 confirmed cases of anaphylaxis after receiving the
Pfizer covid-19 vaccine as of Jan.2019.

CDC said in a statement, a total of 8.3% of cases of anaphylaxis has been
exposed from million of doses after the Moderna vaccine. Anaphylaxis is a
rare allergic reaction in which eyes, hands, feet, and other

Anaphylaxis reactions spread rapidly and within 5 to 30 minutes it
reaches on peak level. It can be life-threatening and may last for
several days if not treated quickly.

So anaphylaxis is a rare event after receiving both Pfizer and BioNTech
covid-19 vaccine. It occurs within minutes after vaccination.

Centers of Disease and Prevention said via email, anaphylaxis is readily
diagnosed and
effective treatments are
available.

Who Should not take the Covid-19 Vaccine?

According to the World Health Organization, Individuals with a
history of severe allergic reactions should not take the Moderna
vaccine or any other covid-19 vaccine. Although the covid-19 vaccine is
recommended for older persons due to the high risk of virus reactions and
death.

Due to the weak immune system in older persons, the risks are high
of the covid-19 virus. The vaccine should not be given to persons
younger than 18 years of age according to the world health
organization.
