Today I am sharing information concerning all about concussions and their
best treatment. A concussion is a temporary unconscious condition
by a blow on the head but a concussion around the eye can cause a
black eye and the black eye is an area of bruised skin by a blow.
 
It is a
type of traumatic brain injury by a blow, bump and hit to the head
that causes the head or brain to move quickly back and forth.

Concussion may affect your brain function
and these effects are temporary and you may face headaches, problems
with concentration, memory problems, and problems with balance and
coordination.

Can a Concussion Make your Eyes Swell?

Direct hit or blow to the eye or close to the eye can
swell your eyes

and in some cases, if you are repeating episodes of
vomiting or clear fluid coming from the nose or ears after a blow
then your eyelid may be swollen as result. 

Symptoms of a Concussion

There are common symptoms of a concussion.

So before going towards treatment first we know the types of concussion
because it is very important for the proper or right treatment. Basically,
the right treatment depends on what type of concussion so types are
divided into three conditions or grades that are given below:

Grade 1:

concussion with mild symptoms that last less than 15 minutes and result
in no loss of consciousness.

Grade 2:

Concussion with moderate symptoms that last longer than 15 minutes and as
a result no loss of consciousness.

Grade 3:

Concussion with severe symptoms results in a loss of consciousness
sometimes just for a few seconds.

Safe Treatment of a Concussion

After 24 hours, use of Ibuprofen or Advil or
naproxen sodium swelling of the affected area. For nausea and vomiting, you should
take prescription medicine as a treatment and in case of headache,
medication such as Acetaminophen should be taken for the best
remedy.
 
Restful sleep is necessary for all stages of recovery from a
concussion because symptoms are temporary and they go away after 24 to 48
hours normally. Use tinted glasses to calm the brain or relieve
pain.
 
A lot of supplements are available in the market that can affects your
brian’s health during recovery by avoiding food supplements high
with caffeine, inflammatories, sugar, and stimulants can help
your brain to recover effectively.
